Though it wouldn’t be his best body of work, his debut album under his real name George Clanton, 100% Electronica was the birth of the modern era of Vaporwave. Not only that, but this release would also be the birth of his own label of the same name that would go on to be one of the most popular and iconic labels in all of Electronic music within the internet era. It’s hard to tell where the genre would be without him, as many hail him as the David Bowie of Vaporwave, as he continues to make strides within the genre even to this day. So despite not being his best, it’s quite an important milestone within not only his discography, but the entire genre as a whole.
